Job summary

Centre for Virology, Vaccinology and Therapeutics Limited is seeking a Research Assistant II to join their translational research and development team in Hong Kong. You will contribute to immunology and vaccine development projects, perform wet lab tasks, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Job description

Research Assistant II in the Centre for Virology, Vaccinology and Therapeutics Limited (Ref.: CVVT/2026/RAII/D16) (from as soon as possible for 1 year, subject to extension based on performance)

The Centre for Virology, Vaccinology and Therapeutics Limited is seeking a motivated candidate to join our translational research and development team. The appointee will contribute directly to ongoing immunology and vaccine development projects.

Job duties include, but not limited to:

• perform wet lab techniques such as qPCR, ELISAs, and cell cultures
• handling small animal experiments
• data acquisitions
• data reporting
• collaborate with team members
• ensure laboratory tidiness
• general admin duties
• other duties assigned by project supervisors

On job training will be provided.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a BSc degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are welcomed.

The appointee will work together with a research and development team focusing on immunology and vaccine research.

Experiences in cell cultures and animal research is advantageous.

Good communication skills in written and spoken English, with proficiency in Chinese being beneficial.

A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team are required.
