Job summary

Centre for Virology Vaccinology and Therapeutics Limited invites applications for a Post-doctoral Fellow or Research Assistant I/II on a two-year fixed-term basis.

PhD holders in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics or related fields are eligible; RA requires a Bachelor’s degree. Strong English, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential. The appointee will contribute to research on emerging infectious diseases including COVID-19.

Job description

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow or Research Assistant I/II in Centre for Virology Vaccinology and Therapeutics Limited (Ref.: CVVT/2026/PDF&RA/D15), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis.

Applicants for Post-doctoral Fellow should possess a PhD degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics or a related field. Applicant for Research Assistant should possess a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team and multi-task. They should be self-motivated and hardworking. The appointee will be involved in research projects related to emerging infectious diseases, including COVID-19.

Working experiences or skills in research or medical laboratory procedures is a strong competitive advantage.
