Job summary

Trend Up Investment (HK) Limited is seeking a research-focused analyst to track US equity sectors and macro indicators, regularly authoring research notes and investment recommendations.

The role also covers crypto market dynamics, DeFi, Layer2 and on-chain analytics, with responsibilities to collect financial data, perform valuation analyses, and provide risk warnings for trading teams and management. Fluency in Mandarin and English and a bachelor's in related fields are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of research experience in US equities or Crypto/Web3.
• Proficient in Python, Excel, Dune Analytics, Glassnode, or TradingView.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English reading US equity research reports and Web3 whitepapers.

Job description

Track key US equity sectors and macro economic indicators, regularly authoring research reports and investment recommendations

Conduct deep research on crypto market dynamics, DeFi, Layer2, on-chain analytics, and emerging Web3 projects

Collect and analyze financial data, trading volume, and valuation models, writing in-depth research reports

Provide research support, macro judgments, and risk warnings for trading teams and management

Conduct initial research and valuation analysis for target investment projects and assets

Requirements:

Hong Kong Permanent Resident, or holder of a valid long-term HK work visa.

For candidates with exceptional performance, the company can assist with HK work/talent visa applications.

Fluent in Mandarin and English (capable of reading US equity research reports and Web3 whitepapers smoothly).

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.

2+ years of research experience in US equities or Crypto/Web3 (brokerage, buy-side, or crypto research background preferred).

Proficient in Python, Excel, Dune Analytics, Glassnode, or TradingView.

Strong logical thinking, excellent writing and data analysis skills, high curiosity for Web3/AI innovations, and detail-oriented.
