Job summary

Be Myjob Company Limited is seeking an equity research analyst to conduct in-depth fundamental research on AI and Advanced Manufacturing listed companies, developing insights across semiconductors, automation, robotics, and related supply chains.

You will build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuations, supporting investment recommendations and published research, with strong communication skills to articulate views to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, CS, or related fields.
• 2+ years of equity research covering relevant sectors.
• Strong modeling, valuation, and analytics; interest in AI & Advanced Manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• SFC Type 4 license or eligibility preferred.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin; Cantonese advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on listed companies across AI and Advanced Manufacturing.
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuations.
• Track industry trends and attend company visits and expert calls.
• Prepare research reports and client materials; respond to inquiries.

Job description

Conduct in-depth fundamental research on listed companies across AI and Advanced Manufacturing, including semiconductors, automation, robotics, intelligent manufacturing, and related supply chains.

Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses; support investment recommendations and published research.

Track industry trends, technology developments, policy changes, and competitive dynamics; attend company visits, conferences, and expert calls.

Prepare research reports, presentations, and client materials; respond to client and internal inquiries.

Maintain sector databases and collaborate with sales, trading, and investment banking colleagues as required.

Ensure research activities comply with applicable regulatory and internal standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; CFA/CPA or progress toward such qualifications preferred.

2+ years of equity research with proven sector coverage.

Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills; genuine interest in and understanding of AI and Advanced Manufacturing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate investment views clearly.

SFC Type 4 license or eligibility preferred.

Fluency in English and Mandarin required; Cantonese an advantage.
