Joy Studios, a Hong Kong-based agile game innovation studio, seeks a Sr. QA Automation Engineer to shape testing, build scalable automation, and own quality across games, math, and back-office systems.

This is an automation-first role with hands-on manual testing; you will develop end-to-end test suites in TypeScript and Cypress, integrate with GitHub Actions, and collaborate with game math and product teams to ship reliable releases. Strong ownership and AI-assisted testing are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building test automation for web apps.
• Strong ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on API and data testing across databases.
• Rigorous manual and exploratory testing to catch edge cases.
• Ability to set direction, establish standards, and grow QA practices.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain end-to-end and integration test suites for games and back-office systems in TypeScript and Cypress.
• Validate game maths and provably fair outcomes with automated checks.
• Automate testing of back-office workflows and their APIs and data.
• Conduct hands-on testing of games across mobile and desktop; document defects clearly.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and help scale QA processes.
