Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Architect for a fully remote hourly contract role. You will evaluate cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, identifying misconfigurations, IAM vulnerabilities, and architectural gaps.

This senior, risk-focused role requires turning complex findings into clear, actionable guidance and delivering remediation plans aligned to industry frameworks. You will support ongoing assessments and shape security across large-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience in cloud security architecture across one or more major cloud platforms.
• Strong command of IAM design, network architecture, and cloud-native service security models.
• Ability to analyze complex environments and translate risk into clear documentation.
• Systematic and thorough approach to identify subtle issues.

Responsibilities

• Assess cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP for security vulnerabilities and design flaws.
• Review IAM configurations, permission models, network segmentation, and resource policies.
• Identify misconfigurations, privilege escalation risks, and insecure architectural patterns.
• Produce clear, structured findings that prioritize remediation.
• Provide actionable mitigation guidance aligned to security frameworks.
• Support recurring assessments of cloud environments and evolving deployment patterns.
• Validate security posture against compliance requirements and zero-trust principles where applicable.
