Job summary

Unity Partners is seeking an experienced remittance operations professional to manage inward/outward payments, cheque deposits, and related processing. You will support Nostro reconciliation, postings, reporting, and controls while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely issue resolution.

The role requires strong communication, English and Mandarin language skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced, banking-focused environment in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cheques and remittances.
• Solid knowledge of payment processing and banking operations.
• Experience handling inward and outward remittance transactions and clearing items.
• Familiarity with cheques, autopays, FPS transactions, and CNY payments for correspondent banking activities.
• Ability to perform reconciliation, control checks, and reporting tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as a good team player.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required; other languages are an advantage.
• IT literate with a logical mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Motivated, creative, innovative, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Processing inward and outward remittance transactions, clearing items, cheque deposits, and related payment activities.
• Support account posting, reconciliation of Nostro outstanding breaks, reporting, control checks, and UAT for system changes.
• Handling payment-related queries while maintaining compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
