Job summary

ST Engineering Urban Solutions is seeking a Release Manager in Hong Kong to own release and configuration management across software components. You will coordinate release schedules, conduct readiness reviews, and ensure timely delivery while driving automation and quality across the pipeline.

You will collaborate with development and project teams, build release notes, manage environments, and maintain documentation for compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in release management.
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, Shell scripting, ANT scripting and XML.
• Experience with build automation and software release processes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proficiency with version control and build tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, track, and resolve defects during release.
• Develop and maintain build scripts and automation tools.
• Manage configuration items and version control.
• Participate in configuration audits for compliance.
• Set up and manage development and build environments.
• Maintain documentation for release, configuration, quality management, certification, and compliance.
• Define and track quality metrics to ensure releases meet standards.
