Job summary

Hang Seng Bank Limited in Hong Kong invites applications for Relationship Support Officer I (Cross Border) based in Central. You will provide efficient support to the Relationship Manager, delivering consistent, high-quality customer service and helping to deepen portfolio intimacy.

The role requires a university degree in Business/Banking/Finance, at least 2 years banking experience, strong sales and customer service orientation, and fluency in English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance or related discipline or equivalent preferable.
• Minimum 2 years of banking/financial services work experience.
• Strong sales and customer service orientation, with self-motivation and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and Chinese; Putonghua an advantage.
• Good understanding of banking products and market trends.
• High customer-centric mindset with commitment to quality service.
• Pass Licensing Examinations (HKSI 1, 7, 8) and fulfil competency requirements for regulated activities.
• Experienced candidates may be considered for Relationship Support Officer II.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, direct support to Relationship Manager, delivering high-quality customer services and maintaining active customer contact.
• Strengthen customer relationships by proactively addressing Retail Banking needs to improve satisfaction.
• Proactively solicit business referrals to support Relationship Manager and grow portfolio.
• Initiate and maintain effective communication with paired Relationship Manager to achieve business targets.
• Ensure smooth daily administrative and operations support for Relationship Manager handling customers and related matters.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Relationship Support Officer (CBB).

• Provide efficient, direct support to Relationship Manager in delivering a consistent, high quality customer services to maintain active customer contact and improve portfolio intimacy and customer connectivity including answer incoming phone calls for Relationship Manager
• Strengthen customer relationship with Relationship Manager by proactively fulfilling their Retail Banking needs so as to improve customer satisfaction
• Proactively solicit business referral to support Relationship Manager to grow their business portfolio & activity planning
• Initiate and maintain effective communication and cooperation with paired Relationship Manager in achieving business target
• To ensure smooth daily administrative and operations support are right in place for Relationship Manger in handling customers and working counterparts related matters

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance or a related discipline OR other relevant qualification is preferable
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in banking/financial services work experience.
• Strong sales and customer service orientation, with self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in both English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage
• Good understanding of banking products market trend, product knowledge, and product development
• High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
• Pass the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations 1,7,8and fulfil the competency requirements to carry out regulated activities as defined under the Regulator
• More experience candidate, passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations I, II, III & Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations 1,7,8 will be considered as Relationship Support Officer II
