Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Regulatory Reporting Leader to oversee framework development, policy maintenance, and the timely submission of statutory reports across banking operations.

The ideal candidate has HKMA and Basel knowledge, IFRS 9 & CFT experience, strong data analytics skills, and a proven track record in leading cross‑functional teams to drive automation, improve accuracy, and ensure regulatory compliance across Retail, Corporate and Investment banking.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in regulatory reporting with 2+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in Hong Kong banking across retail, corporate, or investment banking.
• Deep knowledge of HKMA regulations and Basel requirements; IFRS 9 & CFT frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis tools and regulatory reporting platforms.
• Proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory reporting framework development, policies, and statutory report submissions.
• Ensure data integrity and timeliness of regulatory submissions; collaborate with IT and data teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks in regulatory reporting processes; align with policies and business objectives.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of regulatory reporting tools; drive automation to reduce manual processes.
