Nanyang Commercial Bank, Limited seeks an experienced Regulatory Compliance leader to ensure strict adherence to HKMA reporting and Basel standards. You will design, implement, and maintain robust regulatory reporting frameworks and drive timely statutory submissions.

The role emphasizes data governance, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration with finance, IT, and operations to align reporting with business goals, while driving automation to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certificates preferred.
• 8+ years in regulatory reporting with 2+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in the Hong Kong banking sector across retail, corporate or investment banking.
• Deep understanding of HKMA regulations and Basel requirements; IFRS 9 & CFT familiarity.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis tools and regulatory reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory reporting oversight and adherence to HKMA and Basel requirements.
• Lead development, implementation and maintenance of reporting frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Oversee data governance, validation, reconciliation and audit trails for regulatory submissions.
• Identify and mitigate risks; ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulations.
• Lead automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting.
