Job summary

Pinpoint Asia is working with a leading top tier bank to hire a Business Analyst for a strategic project team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on supporting periodic regulatory reporting for HKMA and MAS and handling complex ad hoc data requests with strong problem solving and analytical skills.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of regulatory reporting experience in a global banking environment, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Power BI.

Qualifications

• 5 8 years hands on regulatory reporting experience in a global banking setting.
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query and complex formulas for large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert knowledge of HKMA and MAS regulations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Operations, Finance and Risk to define ownership and responsibilities.
• Act as Maker/Checker for regulatory submissions to ensure accuracy across templates.
• Identify and implement changes to reporting workstreams due to product, client or regulatory shifts.
• Serve as a liaison for Regulatory Automation and oversee end to end UAT and testing.
