Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a senior data warehouse/BI professional to lead end-to-end development (SDLC) of regulatory reporting applications, focusing on data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data processing workflows.

You will maintain, tune, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing regulatory data applications; coordinate with IT and business teams on system enhancements; and analyze business requirements related to financial regulations (HKMA, Basel III, LCR, BELR) to ensure accurate

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related discipline.
8+ years in data warehouse or BI with at least 3 years in regulatory reporting or risk management in a major bank or financial institution.
Solid understanding of core banking data domains.
Proficient with Oracle, MySQL, GaussDB.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development (SDLC) of regulatory reporting apps, focusing on data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data processing workflows.
Maintain, tune, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing regulatory data applications.
Coordinate with IT and business teams on system enhancements and development arrangements.
Analyze and interpret business requirements, especially financial regulations (e.g., capital adequacy, liquidity risk management, large exposures, regulatory reporting).
