Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong seeks a senior Regulatory Reporting Leader to oversee regulatory reporting, data governance, internal controls, and tool automation. The role requires 8+ years in regulatory reporting, with leadership experience within the Hong Kong banking sector.

You will collaborate with Finance, Operations and IT to ensure HKMA Basel IFRS 9 compliance and drive automation while communicating effectively in English, Chinese and Putonghua.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in regulatory reporting; 2+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in HK banking sector with retail, corporate, or investment exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of HKMA regulations and Basel requirements, IFRS 9 & CFT frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools and regulatory platforms.
• Proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements; lead statutory submissions.
• Data Governance & Quality: Oversee data integrity and timeliness of regulatory submissions.
• Internal Controls: Identify and mitigate risks in regulatory reporting processes across functions.
• Technology & Innovation: Lead the evaluation and implementation of regulatory reporting tools and automation.
