Job summary

Woon Lee Construction Co Ltd seeks a Registered Safety Officer to support the implementation of safety policies on construction projects in Hong Kong. The role requires a formal OSH qualification, and at least five years of site experience, with strong bilingual communication in Chinese and English.

You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, and investigations while coordinating with site teams and government officials to ensure compliance and safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or construction related subject.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction field.
• Well-organized and self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Conduct accident investigation, risk assessment and safety inspection.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project management team to implement the corporate safety policy and integrated management system
• Assist the corporate management to monitor the safety performance of the project
• Ensure the Safety Regulations are complied with by maintaining frequent site inspections, training and liaison with site personnel, subcontractors and government official
• Assist site management in monitoring the safety performance of workers and to provide safety advice to site management from time to time
• Ensure, with the assistance of qualified first aid personnel that all first aid facilities are available for use in emergency and all equipment legally required are maintained in good working condition.
• Assist in accident investigation, if any; and recommending present measures to the site management.
