Job summary

Van Cleef & Arpels is seeking a Store Design Planner in Hong Kong to coordinate regional design needs with local market Retail Architecture teams, ensuring brand integrity while optimizing space.

You will translate global concepts into actionable guidance for local projects and support timely approvals, balancing aesthetics with operational efficiency and local constraints. Fluent English required; Cantonese/Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in Store Design Planning across regional or global projects.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented and agile with retail space maximization.
• Proficient in English; Cantonese and Mandarin would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary regional liaison between central design and local market Retail Architecture teams.
• Translate global design concepts into actionable guidance for local project teams.
• Facilitate approvals between markets and central function with clear communication.
• Review layouts to ensure brand integrity, efficiency, ergonomics, and commercial needs.
• Provide pragmatic solutions when local constraints conflict with design directives.
• Serve as a consultative resource for markets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor milestones, identify risks, and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Conduct periodic site visits to audit quality and construction progress.

You have proven experience in Store Design Planning, strong communication, collaboration, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. You are detail oriented and agile with retail space maximization. You are highly proficient in CAD software, Photoshop and Microsoft Office. You master English; Cantonese and Mandarin would be a plus.

Reporting to the APA Regional Senior Store Planning Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Facilitate approval processes between local markets and central function, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and timely decisions.
• Review layouts and project proposals to ensure they maintain brand design integrity while meeting local operational efficiency, ergonomics, and commercial needs.
• Provide pragmatic solutions when local market constraints (e.g., space limitations, local building codes, budget restrictions) conflict with central function design directives.
• Serve as a consultative resource for local markets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project milestones across regional markets, identifying risks early and advising local teams on mitigation strategies.
• Conduct periodic site visits across the region to audit quality, review construction progress, and ensure adherence to regional standards.
