Job summary

Bybit is seeking a Regional Sales Lead for the Mandarin-speaking market to own affiliate growth strategy and execution, reporting to the global BD team. You'll source and build relationships with crypto communities, KOLs, HNW individuals, and professional traders to drive user acquisition and deepen Bybit's presence in a dynamic retail crypto market.

• 3+ years in cryptocurrency/fintech/financial services with affiliate networks or BD pipelines.
• Experience in referral economics, commissions, and partner lifecycle management.
• Strong PM skills with multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Data-driven with OKR metrics (CPA, LTV, deposits, volume).
• Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory for cross-border work.
• Self-starter mentality with ability to initiate opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Affiliate Network Building: identify, recruit, and develop affiliates with crypto communities and high-net-worth clients.
• KOL & Influencer Partnerships: manage relationships with crypto influencers and media; negotiate campaigns and referrals to drive registrations and trading volume.
• HNW Client Management: maintain direct relationships with high-net-worth traders and groups; provide access to Bybit features.
• User Acquisition Strategy: devise locally-relevant approaches to acquire users beyond standard playbooks.
• Market Intelligence: monitor regulation, competitor activity, and sentiment; feed insights to leaders.
• Performance Optimization: own affiliate OKRs and ROI; iterate strategies based on data.

Role Overview

The Regional Sales Lead owns the affiliate growth strategy and execution for the Mandarin-speaking market, reporting into our global BD team. You'll be on the ground — sourcing and building relationships with crypto communities, KOLs, HNW individuals, and professional traders to drive user acquisition and deepen Bybit's presence in one of the world's most active retail crypto markets.

Responsibilities

• Affiliate Network Building: Proactively identify, recruit, and develop affiliates with communities of HNW clients, professional traders, and active crypto participants.
• KOL & Influencer Partnerships : Source and manage relationships with crypto KOLs, influencers, and media channels — negotiate campaigns, co-branded content, and referral programs that drive registrations and trading volume on Bybit
• HNW Client Management: Build and maintain direct relationships with high-net-worth individuals and trading groups; serve as their primary Bybit contact, ensuring they have access to relevant products (OTC desk, VIP programs, institutional-grade features)
• User Acquisition Strategy: Devise creative, locally-relevant approaches to acquire users — going beyond standard playbooks to find what works in unique crypto landscape
• Market Intelligence: Stay on top of crypto regulation, competitor activity (local and global exchanges), and community sentiment — feed insights back to regional and global leadership
• Performance Optimization : Own and report on affiliate acquisition of OKRs — registration, deposit conversion, trading volume, retention — and iterate based on data to improve ROI
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with Bybit's product, compliance, marketing, and VIP teams to localize offerings and ensure the Mandarin-speaking user experience is best-in-class

Requirements

• 3+ years of solid experience in cryptocurrency, FX, fintech, or financial services — with a demonstrable track record of building affiliate networks or BD pipelines from scratch
• Business development or affiliate management experience — you understand the mechanics of referral economics, commission structures, and partner lifecycle management
• Strong project management skills — comfortable juggling multiple partner relationships, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously
• Data-driven mindset — you understand acquisition OKRs (CPA, LTV, deposit conversion, volume per referred user) and use segmentation and analytics to optimize performance
• Fluent in Mandarin — this is non-negotiable; you'll operate between global HQ and local partners daily
• Self-starter mentality — you don't wait for instructions; you find the opportunity and bring the plan

Nice to Have

• Previous experience at a crypto exchange — you know how exchange BD works
• Experience working across time zones and cross-cultural teams in a global organization
• Genuine passion for blockchain technology, DeFi, and the evolving crypto payments space
• Existing relationships with Mandarin-speaking financial media, fintech associations, or institutional broker networks
