Qualifications

• 5–7 years in Compliance Operations or similar in financial services or fintech.
• Experience leading cross‑jurisdiction implementation projects.
• Strong organisational, coordination and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Own tracking of regulatory obligations and licensing conditions across jurisdictions.
• Develop SOPs, process docs, checklists and readiness materials for new licences.
• Monitor compliance processes, identify risks and escalate overdue actions.
• Prepare operational reports and management briefings for senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate regulatory implementation activities with Legal, Licensing, Product and Ops teams.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections with documentation and remediation tracking.
• Lead gap assessments and remediation to strengthen controls.

Job Title: Lead Compliance Operations Specialist

The Lead Compliance Operations Specialist plays a key role in the execution of Bybit's global compliance operations programme.

Working across multiple licensed jurisdictions, you will ensure regulatory commitments are translated into practical operating procedures, tracked effectively, and maintained throughout the licence lifecycle. This role partners closely with Legal, Licensing, Product, Operations and regional teams to drive operational readiness and ongoing compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Own the tracking of regulatory obligations, licensing conditions and operational actions, coordinating stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Drive the operational implementation of new licences by developing SOPs, process documentation, implementation checklists and business readiness materials.
• Monitor adherence to compliance operational processes, proactively identifying, managing and escalating risks or overdue actions.
• Prepare operational reports, implementation updates and management briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross‑functional regulatory implementation activities with Legal, Licensing, Product, Operations and regional teams.
• Support audits, regulatory inspections and operational reviews by coordinating documentation, evidence gathering and remediation tracking.
• Lead operational gap assessments and remediation initiatives to strengthen compliance processes and controls.

Requirements

• 5 - 7 years experience in Compliance Operations, Regulatory Operations, Project Management Office or a similar operational role within financial services, fintech or another regulated industry.
• Experience leading cross‑functional implementation projects across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong organisational, project coordination and stakeholder management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to develop clear SOPs, process documentation and management reports.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.
• Crypto or digital asset experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
• Mandarin proficiency is advantageous to support collaboration with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.
