Sun Life is seeking a Senior Manager, Operational Risk Management, Asia to provide independent oversight and advisory support across Asia. You will strengthen governance of risk management, assess risk information, and partner with regional functions to embed resilience and regulatory alignment.

The role requires extensive experience in financial services risk management, strong data analytics, and the ability to translate risk data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial services risk management.
• Experience in Operational Risk Management, Internal Audit or Compliance.
• University graduate.

Responsabilités

• Enable governance of Operational Risk Management programs across Asia, including risk reporting, risk appetite, KRIs, issues management, and resilience.
• Review operational risk information and prepare materials for regional risk committees and senior management.
• Identify improvement opportunities and coordinate stakeholders to strengthen data quality and reporting efficiency.
• Partner with Corporate Risk on enterprise transformation initiatives and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Review policies for alignment with corporate requirements and provide constructive challenge on gaps.
