Job summary

Sun Life is seeking an authoritative AI Risk and Governance professional to provide independent oversight of AI, Generative AI, and machine learning initiatives across Asia. You will challenge, assess, and shape governance standards, while coordinating risk assessments and stakeholder engagement for regulatory compliance and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• 8+ years in risk management or related disciplines.
• Certifications in AI governance or risk management are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for AI Risk and Responsible AI practices.
• Conduct second line review and challenge of AI, Generative AI, ML, and analytics initiatives across Asia.
• Provide second line oversight of AI Governance Framework, standards and processes across Asia.
• Provide independent risk opinions on AI initiatives, control deficiencies and remediation plans.
• Coordinate AI risk assessments, including cyber, data, model, regulatory, and compliance risks.
