Job summary

OKX in Hong Kong is seeking a data/analytics engineer to build and operate pipelines ingesting market and trading data, validate quality, and extend Python- and SQL-based datasets for traders, quants, and researchers. Work covers end-to-end data correctness, onboarding new sources, and supporting data users with APIs and libraries, while migrating toward ClickHouse, Iceberg, Kafka, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Eng or related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years in data/analytics engineering or similar.
• Strong Java and/or Python production programming skills.
• Ability to design scalable data schemas and reason about performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate pipelines ingesting market and trading data.
• Extend Python- and SQL-based datasets for desks and researchers.
• Own data correctness with validation, backfills, and data-quality checks.
• Onboard new exchanges and data sources, handle authentication and rate limits.
• Support data users via APIs and client libraries; monitor and alert.
