Job summary

Nahc in Hong Kong is seeking a Backend/Systems Engineer to own and optimize a real-time data infrastructure built for high availability and low latency. You will integrate systems, monitor reliability, and design scalable reporting and data lifecycle processes.

You will deploy with Kubernetes, implement robust observability using Prometheus, SigNoz, and Grafana, and own CI/CD pipelines to enable safe, frequent deployments without downtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in high-performance backend engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on with monitoring and tracing tools (Prometheus/OpenTelemetry/SigNoz).
• Experience building reporting/ETL pipelines for time-series data.

Responsibilities

• System Integration & Modification: Run and maintain real-time systems; develop API integrations and logic changes.
• Infrastructure & Orchestration: Manage trading environment with Kubernetes; ensure low latency and high availability.
• Observability & Reliability: Design robust monitoring stack to track health, latency, and quality in real time.
• Reporting Architecture: Build a dedicated reporting system from the ground up.
• Deployment Automation: Own CI/CD pipelines for safe, frequent deployments without downtime.
