Job summary

Intact Lab in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior React Front-end Developer to join the AI Engineering team. You will translate design requirements into scalable frontend solutions and mentor junior engineers.

You will collaborate with designers, product managers and backend engineers to build high-performance interfaces, contribute to Design Systems, and apply AI-assisted development practices to deliver impactful insurance tech in Asia Pacific.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and Typescript.
• Proficiency with React front-end frameworks.
• Experience with client-side state management and data fetching libraries.
• Experience collaborating with designers via Figma.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices such as design patterns, the development lifecycle, and tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience working with Design Systems.
• Experience with automated testing, from unit test to end-to-end test.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques, accessibility & layout aesthetics.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Here’s What You Bring To The Table

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and Typescript
• Proficiency with React front-end frameworks, (a plus for Angular, & Vue.js)
• Experience with client-side state management and data fetching libraries
• Experience collaborating with designers via Figma
• Knowledge of software engineering practices such as design patterns, the development lifecycle, and tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience working with Design Systems
• Experience with automated testing, from unit test to end-to-end test
• Experience with AI-assisted software development
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques, accessibility & layout aesthetics
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Some Nice-to-haves

• A plus on having experience with hosting web server on AWS (e.g. knowledge on AWS EC2, ECS, ECR, ALB, Docker)
• A plus on understanding and experience with API design, implementation, and lifecycle, as well as OpenAPI/Swagger specification.
