Job summary

MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司 is seeking a senior railway engineer to lead a technical team responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of railway signalling, radio, telecom and related systems, ensuring train service reliability.

You will oversee testing and commissioning, provide rapid incident recovery responses, and conduct fault analysis with engineering studies to support asset renewal and improvements. IRSE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant railway experience, of which 3 years should be at supervisory level
• Possession of a Certificate in Railway Control Engineering Fundamentals awarded by the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical staff to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for railway signalling, radio, telecom and / or commercial communication systems to ensure train service reliability
• Support the testing and commissioning, and provide immediate and effective responses to incident recovery
• Conduct fault analysis / engineering studies, provide technical support and perform asset renewal, modification and improvement works for related systems
• Support signalling and telecom asset management activities, modification works project control as well as contract supervision
