Job summary

ALSTOM Hong Kong Limited invites an Assistant Test & Commissioning Engineer to join our railway signalling projects with MTR. You will prepare and execute testing activities, identify defects, and deliver commissioning reports in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The role requires an engineering degree and 4+ years in infra/ commissioning, with night shift availability and strong bilingual communication in Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• Honour degree in engineering (electrical, electronics or embedded).
• 4+ years of experience in construction, engineering, transport infra and commissioning.
• Experience in Cyber Security and/or Networking is preferred.
• Available to work at night, during weekends and public holidays if required (Nightshift allowance provided).
• Good communication in Chinese and English; driving license; Registered Electrical Worker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute testing activities for railway signalling systems under project direction.
• Identify and correct defects; perform troubleshooting.
• Report non-conformities and provide test context in the right tools.
• Prepare commissioning reports and follow up on detected issues.
• Check test tools are calibrated and in good working order.
• Support V&V team and perform tests in lab as requested.
• Deliver quality on time in line with Alstom policies and safety rules.
• Lead safety briefings as CP(T) of the team when night work is needed.
