Job summary

FESCO PERSONNEL HK CO LTD in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for rail engineering projects. You will lead mobilisation and delivery planning, define milestones, allocate resources, and ensure clear responsibilities.

You will coordinate across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing and handover, monitor progress against budget and contract terms, manage stakeholder communications, and prepare formal reports in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in rail/engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in rail transport, rolling stock, railway engineering, rail systems integration or related field.
• Proven project management experience with ownership of a project or major workstream.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating delivery.
• English proficiency for meetings and project documentation.
• Willingness for overseas travel or assignments and early availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project mobilisation and delivery planning with priorities, milestones, resources and key deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing, commissioning and handover per project scope.
• Monitor progress, quality, budget and contractual obligations; identify risks and resolve issues.
• Lead the project team, allocate responsibilities and coordinate multidisciplinary resources across locations.
• Manage communications with clients, consortium partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders; ensure clear responsibilities and timely decisions.
• Prepare and review project reports and management updates in English, escalating significant issues with practical recommendations.
