Job summary

SYSTRA Asia seeks a Senior Railway System Engineer to join our Asia System Engineering Centre in Hong Kong. You will lead railway systems work packages, guide design, tender and execution phases, and ensure client satisfaction and project profitability.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in railway projects with OEM or system integrator experience, strong reporting in English, and willingness to travel across Asia. Mandarin and Cantonese proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; minimum requirement.
10 years of experience in railway system projects with OEM or system integrator background.
Experience on railway core subsystems (Rolling Stock, Signalling, Railway Communications…).

Responsibilities

Act as railway system expert and workpackage manager in design, tendering or execution phases.
May serve as project manager or technical lead for Hong Kong projects, ensuring on-time delivery and profitability.
Lead/participate in studies to define client needs and elaborate feasible solutions; prepare reports and designs.
Lead/participate in tendering, technical specs, and bid analysis; assist during procurement.
