Job summary

Dcl-Communication-Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a motivated R&D Software Engineer to join our expanding team. You will contribute to researching, developing, and documenting data center products sold to international markets.

You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including GPU servers, and collaborate with project teams to bring products from concept to market. The role requires a Diploma in IT and hands-on Linux, Docker, and networking experience, plus strong Chinese and English

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in E&M/IT/Software; early-career title available.
• Proficient with Linux; Windows Server admin a plus (AD, Azure).
• Strong Docker and Docker networking knowledge.
• Power/UPS or data center server room familiarity is a plus.
• Solid understanding of network stack; network configuration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of monitoring protocols like SNMP is advantageous.
• Experience with MQTT or other IoT tech is beneficial.
• Experience with ESP32/ESP-IDF is a significant advantage.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good communication in Chinese and English.
