Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to perform analysis, design, and detailing for new developments and structural frames. You will prepare drawings, specifications, and reports while liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and government authorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design, consultancy, or site construction management.
• Proficiency in structural software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD Pro) and drafting tools (AutoCAD / Revit / BIM).
• Familiarity with local building codes, statutory procedures, standard specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese / Mandarin.

Perform structural analysis, calculations, and detail designs for new developments, structural steelwork, concrete frameworks, foundations, and temporary works.

Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, design reports, and statutory submission documents.

Liaise and coordinate closely with clients, architects, main contractors, sub-contractors, and relevant government authorities/statutory bodies.

Conduct site inspections, supervise structural works, and resolve site technical queries or discrepancies.

Ensure design outputs comply with local structural design codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Assist in project management, monitoring progress, quality, and budget.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design, consultancy, or site construction management.

Proficiency in structural software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD Pro, or SAFE) and drafting tools (AutoCAD / Revit / BIM).

Familiarity with local building codes, statutory procedures, standard specifications, and construction methodologies.
