Wecon Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Asst. Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong. The role covers pre- and post-contract works, cost planning, sub-contractor accounts, and contract-related issue handling.

Candidates should have a Quantity Surveying degree or higher and at least 3 years’ site experience with contractors. Wecon Limited, founded in 1974, offers an attractive remuneration package and opportunities for career advancement to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or related disciplines.
• 3 years or more of quantity surveying experience, site experience with contractor and building projects.
• Experience in tendering or subletting and maintenance projects preferred.
• Strong numerical sense with data interpretation and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsabilités

• Handle pre-contract and post-contract works including subletting and negotiation, re-measurement, valuation of variation, cost estimation, extension of time claim, cash flow monitoring, certifying payment and final account settlement independently.
• Develop cost planning and project budgeting.
• Deal with Sub-contractor’s accounts.
• Assist in handling contractual related issues.

To handle pre-contract and post-contract works including subletting and negotiation skill, re-measurement, valuation of variation, cost estimation, extension of time claim, cash flow monitoring, certifying payment and final account settlement independently;

Developing cost planning and project budgeting;

Dealing with Sub-contractor’s account;

Assist to handle contractual related issues.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma / Degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or related disciplines;

3 years or above of quantity surveying experience, site experience with contractor and building projects are must;

Experience in tendering or subletting and maintenance projects will be an advantage;

Strong numerical sense, excellent data interpretation & analytical skills;

Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility;

Good commend of written & spoken English and Chinese;
