Job summary

Wecon Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor / Asst. Quantity Surveyor to manage pre-contract and post-contract duties in Hong Kong. The role involves subletting, variation valuation, cost planning and budgeting, and subcontractor accounts.

Applicants should have a Quantity Surveying degree, at least 5 years of QS experience on site, and strong numeracy with English and Chinese proficiency. The company offers attractive remuneration and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or related disciplines.
• 5 years or above of quantity surveying experience, site experience with contractor and building projects are must.
• Experience in tendering or subletting and maintenance projects will be an advantage.
• Strong numerical sense, excellent data interpretation & analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility.
• Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese.

To handle pre-contract and post-contract works including subletting and negotiation skill, re-measurement, valuation of variation, cost estimation, extension of time claim, cash flow monitoring, certifying payment and final account settlement independently;

Developing cost planning and project budgeting;

Dealing with Sub-contractor’s account;

Assist to handlecontractual related issues.

Requirements

Higher Diploma / Degree or abovein Quantity Surveying, Building Studiesor related disciplines;

5 years or above of quantity surveying experience, site experience with contractor and building projects are must;

Experience in tendering or subletting and maintenance projects will be an advantage;

Strong numerical sense, excellent data interpretation & analytical skills;

Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility;

Good commend of written & spoken English and Chinese;
