Job summary

Airline Mechanical Co Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Quality Manager to lead the organization-wide quality system governance, maintain IATF 16949, ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, and execute annual audit plans.

You will oversee daily quality control, continuous improvement, customer and supplier quality, and lead departmental staffing, interviews, and performance reviews while driving CAPA and cost-of-poor-quality reduction.

Qualifications

• Education and hands-on quality management experience.
• 8+ years in EMS quality roles with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Job description

1) Quality System Governance: Lead the implementation of organization-wide quality processes, maintain external certifications (IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 9001), and execute annual company audit plans

2) Daily Quality Control & Continuous Improvement: Sustain and improve quality control systems across incoming, in-process, and outgoing stages, lead line abnormality containment & resolutions, drive CAPA implementation, and drive activities to reduce cost of poor quality

3) Customer Quality Management: Meet and exceed customer’s quality expectations. Review root-cause analyses and CAPA for customer complaints, ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements, and lead customer audits

4) Supplier Quality Management: Monitor Non-Conformance Notice (NCN) trends, review supplier corrective actions, and track overall supplier quality performance

5) New Product Introduction (NPI): Participate in Pre-Production (PP) runs, actively contribute towards successful PP runs, and ensure all department NPI tasks are completed accurately and on schedule

6) Departmental Leadership: Manage staffing fulfillment, conduct interviews, oversee employee performance reviews and work discipline, and lead daily departmental meetings

Skills and Experiences:

1) Education: Preferred education with degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering. Other engineering degrees may be considered based on past work experience and skillsets

2) Experience: Proven track record with over 8 years of hands-on experience in Quality management roles preferably in the EMS industry

3) Technical Skills: Proven expertise in implementing and maintaining IATF 16949/ ISO 13485 quality management systems, along with a comprehensive understanding of quality assurance methodologies such as 8D and Automotive Core Tools. Working expertise in IPC-A-610 is highly advantageous

4) Language & Computer Skills: Fluent in verbal and written English with strong technical presentation skills. Spoken and written Chinese fluency is an added advantage. Proficient in report generation, data analysis, and documentation using Microsoft; familiarity with MES & ERP operations is advantageous
