Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking a QA Laboratory Technician to join our Ang Mo Kio manufacturing facility. The role focuses on ensuring product quality through hands-on laboratory testing, data analysis and ongoing quality monitoring.

You will perform ICP-OES and other analyses, manage test records and laboratory databases, and support equipment upkeep while monitoring SPC trends and test results to identify abnormalities. A NITEC or Diploma and at least two years in a lab are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of laboratory experience minimum.
• NITEC / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related field required.
• ICP-OES experience preferred; other techniques (IC, XRF, UV-Vis or titration) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform ICP-OES and other laboratory analyses to support production and quality requirements.
• Handle test records, documentation and laboratory databases.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Monitor SPC trends and review test results for abnormalities.
• Manage laboratory materials, consumables and inventory.
• Follow laboratory procedures, work instructions, safety and 7S standards.
• Support corrective actions, workflow improvements and QA projects.
