Job summary

Crystal Investment Limited seeks an experienced and rigorous Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee QA across civil infrastructure and construction projects, bridging design and on-site execution to ensure materials, testing and workmanship meet contract specifications, codes and safety standards.

You will design, implement and execute QA plans and inspection protocols, conduct regular field inspections, maintain strict QA documentation, and report findings to project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, QA, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of QA experience in construction.
• Experience in developing and tracking Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and checklists.
• Solid understanding of engineering standards.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and specs to establish QA benchmarks.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and rigorous Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee the quality management systems across our civil infrastructure and construction projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering designs and on-site execution, ensuring all materials, testing, and workmanship adhere strictly to contract specifications, regulatory codes, and safety standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enforce zero-defect standards.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and engineering design documents to establish quality benchmarks.

Design, implement, and execute comprehensive QA testing plans and inspection protocols, provide feedback and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Conduct regular field and plant inspections to verify that all civil engineering activities match approved standard drawings.

Maintain strict control over quality documentation, closely monitor the end-to-end QA testing process and comply with industry standards, project specifications, and timeline requirements.

Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and external stakeholders; prepare and present detailed QA testing and compliance reports.

Provide engineering and quality control support for ad hoc projects and urgent site matters as required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Assurance orrelated disciplines;

Minimum 6years of experience of QA in construction industry;

Solid experience in developing and tracking Inspection and Test Plans and checklists.

Comprehensive understanding of engineering standards.

Exceptional attention to physical detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency with engineering software like AutoCAD and standard project tracking tools.

Good teamwork capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
