Job summary

HerdHR Private Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a QA Automation Tester to design, execute, and maintain automated regression tests for mobile and web applications.

You will develop test plans, data sets, and matrices, and collaborate with engineers to improve coverage and product quality, while keeping up with the latest QA tools and trends. A IT-related degree and 1+ year automation experience are required; strong English is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
• At least 1 year in test automation
• Experience in agile environments
• Familiar with at least one test automation tool (e.g. testsigma, selenium, Telerik)
• Strong QA methodologies knowledge for unit, functional and integration testing
• Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute automated regression tests for mobile and web apps

• Work with Engineering to improve test coverage and product quality

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute automated regression test suite for mobile and web applications
• Develop and maintain test plans, testing strategies, test cases, test data, matrices, and other QA related documentation
• Work with the Engineering Team to continuously improve test coverage to improve quality of released products
• Keep up to date on the latest tools, industry trends and technologies for software testing and put them to good use!

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

• MUST HAVE:

1. At least one (1) year of experience in test automation experience
2. At least one (1) year of experience working in an agile environment.
3. Familiar with at least 1 test automation tool software (e.g. testsigma, selenium, Telerik, etc.)

• Strong understanding of Software QA methodologies best practices to design, build and execute unit, functional and integration test cases

• An independent, resourceful, result-oriented and analytical thinker.

• Experience with Git and Jira

• Strong oral and written English communication skills
