Job summary

EX.IO is seeking a Backend Python Developer to join our product development team in Hong Kong. You will design and implement core services for a financial platform, building scalable infrastructure to support high-frequency trading and real-time data processing.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in backend development, expert Python and asynchronous frameworks, a deep understanding of distributed systems, and strong skills with Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch on Linux/DevOps environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficient in Python and asynchronous frameworks.
• Deep understanding of distributed architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Linux/DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering: Design and develop core functions for our financial services platform, building scalable infrastructure for high-frequency trading.
• High-Performance Trading Systems: Establish and maintain a robust, low-latency trading engine.
• Data Protocol Implementation: Develop internal protocols to process real-time market data.
• Compliance & Analytics: Implement batch reporting and data warehouse workflows for regulatory compliance and BI.
• System Design & Documentation: Produce architectural designs and technical specifications.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Product and Business teams to map requirements to roadmaps.
