Wing Sang Cheong Ltd in Chai Wan, Eastern District, is seeking a motivated Purchasing Executive to join our team in a full-time role focused on purchasing and procurement in the FMCG distribution sector. You will monitor PRs, issue POs, liaise with vendors, review costs and product quality, source new products, and upload sales forecasts.

Fluency in English and Chinese and proficiency with MS Office are required, with SAP experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to work independently.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join our team at Wing Sang Cheong Ltd, a leading player in the Food & Beverages distributorship industry. In this full-time position based in Chai Wan, Eastern District, you will play a key role in supporting our purchasing and procurement activities.

What you'll be doing

Actively monitoring the PR and issuing PO to vendors;

Assist in implementing material pricing strategies;

Communicating with vendors regarding product issue or complaints;

Holding regular meetings with key vendors to review the cost and quality of products;

Monitoring the material price and quality;

Sourcing new products as requested by our customers;

Uploading product sales forecast into the system;

Other jobs assigned by the superiors.

What we're looking for

Higher Diploma or Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferrable;

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities;

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;

Proficient in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing;

Familiarity with procurement software (e.g. SAP) and advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is a plus.
