Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited's client, a market-leading life insurance firm, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee Group Risk initiatives. You will formulate charters, business cases, ROI assessments and budget forecasts, coordinating with APAC stakeholders to align requirements and rollout schedules.

You will manage multi-currency budgets, monitor burn rates, drive end-to-end integration across GRC platforms and core systems, supervise external vendors, lead UAT and compliance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in financial services.
• Experience with large-scale system integration and multi-entity APAC rollouts.
• Strong domain knowledge in Operational Risk, Third-Party/Vendor Risk, GRC and HKMA/IA standards.
• Bachelor degree; PMP/Prince2/Agile/Scrum certification advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management with executive teams.
• English fluency mandatory; Cantonese or Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct external software vendors and system integrators to ensure seamless delivery.
• Coordinate with APAC stakeholders to align requirements and rollout schedules.
• Lead UAT, regression cycles, defect triage and compliance sign-offs.
• Establish procedures and regional training for risk champions and end users.

• Direct external software vendors and system integrators to secure seamless technical delivery.
• Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the APAC region to align requirements and rollout schedules.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression cycles, defect triage, and compliance sign-offs.
• Establish operational procedures and deliver regional training programmes for local risk champions and end users.

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience within Financial Services (Insurance Company is preferred).
• Demonstrated track record managing large-scale system integration projects and regional multi-entity rollouts.
• Strong domain expertise in Operational Risk, Third-Party/Vendor Risk, GRC platforms and HKMA/IA regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline; PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certification is advantageous.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities when collaborating with executive leadership.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; professional proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
