Job summary

ASMPT in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and drive large-scale technical projects. The ideal candidate will manage project plans, ensure stakeholder alignment, and strengthen project management practices across teams.

With a preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in engineering equipment development, you should demonstrate excellent planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.

Job description

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and drive large-scale technical projects, ensuring project plans, requirements, governance, and stakeholder alignment are effectively managed from initiation to delivery. This role will strengthen project management practices, cross-functional collaboration, and execution excellence to support successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains project plans and schedules, and ensures the project requirements are defined and meet the project’s objectives
• Collaborates with employees, management, clients, and other internal and external stakeholders
• Implement portfolio and project management practices
• Develops, executes, and composes clear and effective communications, trainings, and post-delivery support plans
• Directs large scale, technical projects, and collaborates with employees, leadership, clients, and other internal and external stakeholders
• Mentors team members in project management, processes, tools, and techniques
• Manages clear and specific contractual terms for required project work with vendors
• Ensures projects have the appropriate governance and management controls and practices

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline is preferred

Experience

• At least 5+ years of experience in engineering equipment development
• Project Management Program certificate preferred
