Job summary
Hytech is seeking a high-caliber Project Manager / Business Operations Lead to support the growth and operational management of our Hong Kong office and market making business. This is a true builder role in fast-moving environments, coordinating complex stakeholders and driving initiatives from 0 to 1.
You will work closely with senior leadership, trading, risk, operations, liquidity, and external institutional partners to drive execution across strategic initiatives and continuously improve
Qualifications
- 5+ years of working experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or related functions.
- Experience in finance, trading, quantitative trading, crypto, or market making environments is highly preferred.
- Fluent in English and Chinese as working languages.
- Open to short-term business travel.

- Support the operational management of the Hong Kong office and related business functions.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives across trading, risk, operations, and technology teams.
- Coordinate resources, track key projects, and ensure smooth execution of strategic priorities.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and continuously optimize internal workflows and processes.
- Coordinate with external market making firms, exchanges, liquidity providers, and institutional partners.
- Support day-to-day market making related operations and business coordination.
- Act as a key communication bridge between internal stakeholders and external partners.

We are seeking a high-caliber Project Manager / Business Operations Lead to support the growth and operational management of our Hong Kong office and market making business. This is not a traditional project management role; we are looking for a true builder - someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can drive initiatives from 0 to 1, navigate ambiguity, coordinate complex stakeholders, and continuously improve how the business operates.
You will work closely with senior leadership, trading, risk, operations, liquidity, and external institutional partners, playing a key role in driving execution across strategic business initiatives. If you enjoy solving complex problems, building operational frameworks, and operating at the intersection of business, trading, and strategy, this role is for you.
- Support the operational management of the Hong Kong office and related business functions
- Drive cross-functional initiatives across trading, risk, operations, and technology teams
- Coordinate resources, track key projects, and ensure smooth execution of strategic priorities
- Identify operational bottlenecks and continuously optimize internal workflows and processes
- Coordinate with external market making firms, exchanges, liquidity providers, and institutional partners
- Support day-to-day market making related operations and business coordination
- Help establish scalable operational frameworks and management processes for the business
- Act as a key communication bridge between internal stakeholders and external partners
- Drive initiatives independently with strong ownership and execution capability
- Build structure and clarity in highly dynamic and fast-changing environments
- Identify root causes, solve operational challenges, and improve organisational efficiency
- 5+ years of working experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or related functions
- Experience in finance, trading, quantitative trading, crypto, or market making environments is highly preferred
- Strong builder mindset with the ability to independently drive initiatives from 0 to 1
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and external institutional partners
- Fast learner with strong curiosity towards financial markets and evolving industries
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments
