Job summary

Hytech is seeking a Product Operation Manager to drive operational excellence for our Physical Stock business. You will own the end-to-end trading operations lifecycle and partner with Product and cross-functional teams to elevate efficiency, scalability, and risk controls in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Product, Trading, Engineering, Brokers, and Operations to optimize workflows, enhance automation, and support growth across equities and related products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Equities Operations, Settlement, Product Operations, or Trading Operations within financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience with physical stock products and equity trading lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of equity-related products; CFDs/Prime Brokerage/crypto trading are advantages.
• Experience leading operational improvement or cross-functional projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational workflow for the Physical Stock business, including trade execution, settlement, reconciliation, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Brokers, Custodians, Sales, Structuring, and Operations to scale growth while managing risks.
• Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth trade processing and continuous improvements across equity products.
• Review and optimize workflows for equities, CFDs, and other investment products to boost automation, scalability, and controls.
• Analyse regulatory and business requirements to propose sustainable process improvements and lead implementation.

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Operation Manager to drive the operational excellence of our physical stock business. You will own the end-to-end trading operations lifecycle, partner closely with Product and cross-functional teams, and continuously improve operational efficiency, scalability, and risk control to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end operational workflow for the Physical Stock business, including trade execution, settlement, reconciliation, and lifecycle management.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Brokers, Custodians, Sales, Structuring, and Operations teams to support business growth while minimizing operational and settlement risks.
• Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth trade processing, investigate operational issues, and drive continuous improvements across equity trading products.
• Review and optimize operational workflows for equities, CFDs, and other investment products, identifying opportunities to improve automation, scalability, efficiency, and internal controls.
• Analyze operational, business, and regulatory requirements to recommend sustainable process improvements and deliver operational enhancement projects from planning through implementation.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Equities Operations, Settlement, Product Operations, or Trading Operations within a Securities Firm, Investment Bank, Private Bank, Brokerage, or Financial Institution.
• Hands-on experience supporting Physical Stock products with a solid understanding of the equity trading lifecycle, including trade execution, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions.
• Strong knowledge of equity-related financial products. Experience with CFDs, Prime Brokerage, or Crypto trading products is a strong advantage.
• Experience participating in operational improvement or cross-functional projects; ownership of operational transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and external partners.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume trading environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining operational excellence.
