Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to plan, manage, and deliver Learning Systems projects across their lifecycle in Hong Kong. You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to implement LMS, LXP, and AI-enabled learning capabilities that advance organizational learning and workforce development.

The role requires strong project management, governance, and vendor management experience, plus familiarity with AI concepts and learning technologies.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of project management experience in the defense, learning or education sector.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
• A degree in Project Management, or a related field. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for learning and education, with a commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello).
• Familiarity with e-learning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.
• Prior experience working on government agencies project will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI concepts.
• Awareness of AI applications within learning technologies and digital workplace solutions.
• Ability to identify opportunities for AI adoption that deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of learning development project, ensuring it meets client requirements, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and providing regular updates on project progress.
• Work with clients to define and clarify project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Ensure changes to scope are documented and communicated.
• Support the planning and implementation of AI-enabled learning capabilities, including intelligent search, personalised learning recommendations, virtual assistants, learning analytics, and generative AI features.
• Manage the allocation of internal and external resources, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and support.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Oversee testing and validation of learning technology solutions to ensure quality; implement continuous improvement processes.
• Identify risks or issues and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on delivery.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and provide regular status reports to senior management and clients.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and capture lessons learned for future projects.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering Learning Systems projects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

The incumbent will work closely with customers, business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project partners to deliver Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), digital learning solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities that support organisational learning and workforce development.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and governance experience, together with an understanding of emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and their application in learning ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of learning development project, ensuring it meets client requirements, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and providing regular updates on project progress.
