Job summary

chozan.co is seeking a Project Executive / Manager in Hong Kong to drive China-focused client projects, research, and talks. The role requires Mandarin and English fluency, strong PM processes, and hands-on AI tool experience within a multinational team.

You will manage client relationships, oversee project delivery, and contribute to business development. Immediate availability is preferred with onboarding in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading calls, proposal development, planning, execution and project delivery.
• Client and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Holder of HKID or valid HK work permit; immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute client projects such as China learning tours, innovation research and tailored talks.
• Develop project materials for client projects.
• Plan and oversee projects; ensure high-quality delivery by individual work and team collaboration.
• Manage partners to ensure successful delivery of client projects.
• Monitor project payment schedules and provide monthly financial updates.
• Conduct quarterly financial and target reviews with the managing director.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with key clients.
• Strengthen partnerships with suppliers to enhance deliverables and collaboration.
• Follow up new leads, craft proposals and close deals.
• Ensure signed clients are onboarded and projects meet specifications.
• Engage in business development and sales activities.

We are looking for an outstanding Project Executive / Manager to join our team. This is an opportunity for a professional determined to work in China's innovation space in a small, high performing, agile and multinational team. In this role you'll need learning agility, can-do attitude, structure and attention to detail and deep understanding of China's digital ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Execute clients projects such as China learning tours, innovation research and tailored talks for corporate clients
• Work on the projects and materials development for client projects
• Provide planning, guidance and oversight to projects, ensuring high-quality delivery by doing the work individually and collaborating with the internal team
• Manage partners to ensure the successful delivery of client projects
• Monitor project payment schedules to ensure timely payments and provide monthly financial updates
• Conduct quarterly financial and target reviews with the managing director
• Maintain and deepen exceptional relationships with key clients
• Strengthen partnerships with suppliers to enhance deliverables' quality and maximize opportunities for collaboration
• Follow up new leads, craft proposals based on the brief and discussion, and close deals
• Ensure signed clients are smoothly on-boarded and projects are executed to client's specifications
• Business development and sales activities

About you

• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Project management experience, including leading calls, proposal development, planning, execution, and project delivery
• Client and stakeholder engagement experience
• High sense of responsibility and accountability
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Hands on experience with AI tools, prompting (with solid human research and context) and fact checking post AI delivery
• Holder of HKID or valid HK work permit and immediate availability is preferred
