Job summary

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) seeks dynamic professionals to join the Business Development Team. The role supports organizing over 30 international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year, helping companies showcase products to buyers worldwide.

Key duties include assisting project managers, coordinating logistics, liaising with participants, VIPs and vendors, and providing on-site support to ensure high-quality experiences. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in customer services, project management, or event organizing preferred.
• Strong English and Chinese communication; Putonghua fluency.
• Good teamwork with collaborative attitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word-processing.
• Willingness to work long hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in overall planning and execution of programme.
• Provide logistics and operational support, including liaising with participants, VIPs, speakers, and internal departments.
• Liaise and maintain good relations with vendors, working partners and industry associations.
• Handle enquiries from event participants.
• Provide on-site event support to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality participant experience.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations and post-event evaluation.
• Provide administrative support, including data input, scheduling, documentation and coordination across teams.

The role involves supporting the organisation of more than 30 world-class international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year, which cover various industries and sectors and create opportunities for companies to promote their products or services to buyers from all over the world.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in the overall planning and execution of programme
• Provide logistics and operational support, including assisting in liaisons with participants, VIPs, speakers, internal departments, branch offices, etc.
• Liaise and maintain good relations with vendors, working partners and industry associations
• Handle enquiries from event participants
• Provide on-site event support to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality participant experience
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations and post-event evaluation
• Provide administrative support, including data input, scheduling, documentation and coordination across teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
• Prior experience in customer services, project management, or event organizing would be advantageous
• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels
• Good team player with a collaborative and positive attitude
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
• Willingness to work long hours to meet tight deadlines
• Proactive, self-initiated and very attentive to details
• Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word-processing

Remuneration and Benefits
