Job summary

Mei Cheung Watch Case & Component Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to bridge our global clients with internal R&D and Quality Control teams. You will coordinate NPI projects, liaise with clients, and analyze production data.

You will lead root-cause analyses, draft 8D reports, and drive process improvements with Statistical & Process Capability methods. Occasional day trips to our Huizhou facility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Candidates with relevant experience are preferred.
• Strong written/spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Good problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI and modern digital tools.

Responsibilities

About the role

With over 35 years of experience in crafting luxury metal cases, premium smartwatches and the world's leading smart rings, we are looking for an energetic Project Engineer to act as the technical bridge between our global clients and our internal R&D and Quality Control teams. www.mcwc.com.hk

Key responsibilities

• Follow technical projects for major global tech clients, leading communication throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase

• Act as the liaison between our team and our clients

• Analyze production yield data with our QC team

• Work collaboratively to execute root-cause analyses and author comprehensive 8D Reports

• Process improvement via Statistical & Process Capability Analysis

• Occasional day trip to Huizhou facility

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field

• Relevant experience is an advantage

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin

• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to details, and communication skills

• Familiar with AI and modern digital tools
