Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Hong Kong is seeking a Project Manager with a high diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. This role involves overseeing project progress, conducting factory visits, and ensuring quality standards while managing supplier relationships. Ideal candidates will have 0-3 years of experience in project management, strong coordination and communication skills, and be fluent in both English and Mandarin. Travel within Southern and Northern China is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years working experience in project management in metal or plastic.
• Knowledge of tooling is required.
• Available to travel in Southern China and Northern China.
• Willingness to travel in Southern China and Northern China.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular overseas factory visits to maintain supplier relationships.
• Oversee project progress and ensure quality standards.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives in project execution.
• Support mechanical and technical issues in new projects.
• Investigate quality issues reported from factory and after-market.
• Knowledge of tooling processes.

• Conduct regular overseas factory visits to oversee project progress, ensure quality standards, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Using AutoCAD to read technical drawing
• Identify opportunities for operational excellence and drive cost‑saving initiatives in project execution.
• Provide support for mechanical and technical issues related to the development and launch of new projects.
• To involve in investigation of quality issue reported from factory and after‑market.
• Knowledge of Tooling

Qualification

• High diploma in Mechanical engineer or industrial or manufacturing
• Minimum 0-3 years working experience in project management in metal, plastic
• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent coordination and multi‑tasking, communications, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multi‑task in a well‑organized and efficient manner
• Available to travel in Southern China, Northern China
