Job summary
Mei Cheung Watch Case & Component Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to bridge our global clients with internal R&D and Quality Control teams. You will coordinate NPI projects, liaise with clients, and analyze production data.
You will lead root-cause analyses, draft 8D reports, and drive process improvements with Statistical & Process Capability methods. Occasional day trips to our Huizhou facility are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering or related field.
- Candidates with relevant experience are preferred.
- Strong written/spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
- Good problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skills.
- Familiarity with AI and modern digital tools.
Responsibilities
- Follow technical projects for major global tech clients, leading communication in the NPI phase.
- Act as the liaison between our team and clients.
- Analyze production yield data with the QC team.
- Lead root-cause analyses and author 8D Reports.
- Drive process improvement via Statistical & Process Capability analysis.
- Occasional day trips to the Huizhou facility.
