Job summary

Computime-Ltd is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a design team and drive development from concept to mass production for OEM projects. You will coordinate with overseas and local customers, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure high-quality design verifications.

The role requires extensive experience in plastic/injection molding, metal stamping, and small electronic device design, with strong leadership and bilingual (English/Chinese) capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in product design.
• 5+ years at managerial level.
• Solid experience in plastic injection, metal stamping.
• Experience in small electronic device design.
• Solid knowledge of safety and regulatory standards.
• Expert in 3D CAD (Pro/E/SolidWorks) for mechanical design.
• Hands-on experience in FEA is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Mechanical Engineering team in PRC.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a Mechanical Engineering team in PRC.

• Handle OEM projects with overseas and local customers

• Responsible for new product design and development from NPI to Mass production

• Monitor projects schedule to ensure all deliverables are completed on time

• Conduct development schedule and cost analysis, review new product

• Design verification and trouble shooting

• Station or daily travel to Shenzhen Office

Qualifications

• Degree Holder in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 8 years relevant experience in product design

• At least 5 years at managerial level

• Solid knowledge and experience in plastic injection, metal stamping.

• Solid knowledge and experience in small electronic device design

• Solid knowledge and experience in safety and regulatory standard

• Expert knowledge in using 3D CAD system (Pro-E/SolidWorks preferred) for mechanical design

• Hand-on Experience in FEA analysis will be an advantage

• Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

• Fluent English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage

• Be responsible and able to work under pressure
