Job summary

AEDGE HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer in Hong Kong to support planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, site teams, and clients to keep projects on time and within budget while meeting specifications. The role requires a technical background, strong communication, and hands-on involvement in project activities, including site visits, documentation, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or related field).
• 1–3 years of relevant project engineering experience (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
• Strong understanding of project management principles and engineering practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety requirements, and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Prepare project schedules, reports, and progress updates for internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Conduct site visits to oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Support documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and as-built drawings.
• Provide technical support to project teams, including design reviews and equipment selection.
• Assist in resolving on-site engineering or technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
