Job summary

A technology services company located in Hong Kong is seeking a Data Center Manager. The ideal candidate will manage post-sale services, oversee system administration, and coordinate vendor management. Applicants should have a degree with at least 2 years of experience in data center operations, strong communication skills, and technical knowledge in air-conditioning, power supply, and network protocols. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for liaison and management with global customer on data center post-sale service
• System administrator of IDC related management or monitoring system, cooperate with vendor to ensure the system robustness and network security
• IDC project delivery to customer including rack, power, cabling and patching
• Coordinate with IDC vendor to fulfill the post-sale service requirement of customer such as drill, site audit etc.
• Vendor management of significant facility maintenance duty
• Regular service review and site audit with customers, collect feedback, provide recommendations for improvement, communicate with customer and seek for business opportunity

Job Requirements

• Degree holder with a minimum of 2 years of experience, major in Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar fields
• Data Center Facility experience
• Strong experience in air-conditioning/power supply
• Familiar with TCP/IP, Network protocol, VPN, cabling, network fault recovery etc.
• Experience in network diagnosis and maintenance, good understanding of power supply and air-conditioning in data center
• Knowledge in data center facility, transmission or IP network will be an advantage
• Possess professional certificates (i.e. CCNP, CCNA, CISSP, ITIL) is definitely an advantage
• Excellent in communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, dedicated and self-motivated
• Good team player, strong customer service mind and able to work under pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin
